Education: Bachelor of Science degree in any science, technology, or engineering field.
Experience: Eight years distributed control system professional experience with at least two years of experience directing the work of others.
- Experience with Department of Energy facility, commercial nuclear, or Naval Nuclear training simulators is desired.
- Experience with software life cycle documentation requirements is desired.
- Experience with JProTM simulation software or similar is desired.
- Experience with Subcontract Technical Representative (STR) duties is a plus.
- Experience with Bechtel Procurement System (BPS) to perform subcontractor documentation and contract activity functions is a plus.
- Maintain System Hardware configuration management for all simulator systems.
- Identify, coordinate, schedule, and monitor simulator system changes/upgrades to meet training needs.
- Provide administrative control of simulator hardware/software systems.
- Identify and coordinate incidental technical, licensing, and documentation requirements requiring implementation.
- Initiate and coordinate software procurement required to maintain the simulator systems.
- Perform acquisition and disposition of simulator hardware/software assets.
- Schedule simulator maintenance activities.
- Use Bechtel Procurement System (BPS) to develop and track procurement forms and activities for simulator hardware/software.
- Schedule simulator maintenance activities.
- Act as planning and scheduling interface for future expansion of Simulator Systems.
- Act as liaison between WTCC Training and Plant Engineering, Cyber Security, Information System & Technology, Operations, and Subcontractor.
- Track and monitor design changes (physical equipment/process system modifications) to the simulator systems.

- Upon reporting, must be able to complete and pass a medical evaluation for badging purposes. Must have full mobility, be able to walk on uneven or broken surfaces (rocks, gravel, etc.). The examination includes, but is not limited to ability to pass blood pressure test, able to bend, twist, pull, push, climb, and lift more than 20 lbs.

Per Diem Details:
If applicable, mobilization and demobilization expenses (mileage, lodging, and M&IE) are authorized to and from the assignment location if point of origin is more than 50 miles away. Demobilization is authorized only if the assignment is completed per the assignment end date, or Bechtel ends the assignment earlier than specified.
Contract employees are expected to drive their own car to the assignment location. Lodging plus methodology is approved for the settling-in period of the first 30 days or until long-term lodging is occupied, whichever occurs first. For mobilization, demobilization and during the settling-in period all charges, except M&IE per diems, are to be invoiced by the agency to Bechtel with required receipts. After long-term lodging is occupied, or the 30-day period has elapsed, the per diem allowance for lodging, meals and incidental expenses will be no more than 55% of the approved FTR rate. Meals will be expensed via daily entry into myTime time record system. Expense reports including receipts will continue to be required for lodging. Actual lodging costs up to 55% of the approved FTR rate will be reimbursed.
Contract employees on single status assignments of 3 months or more may be granted trips home. Trips are not to exceed a frequency of once every 28 days provided that a minimum of 30 days, from the trip departure date, remain in the assignment. Trips are expected to be scheduled over the weekends and will be on the contract employee’s own time. Up to 3 days of home leave travel expenses will be reimbursed including parking and car rental at home (if own car was driven to project location). M&IE is only paid on travel days. Deviations in home leave schedules require project approval. Reimbursement for travel via common carrier (airline, train, or bus) may not exceed the cost of economy class airfare.
